Conclusion

In the conclusion you should summarise the results of your research. What are the main points that you would like to communicate about your paper? This is the section that people will remember the most, so it is your chance to emphasise your opinion based on the research.

The conclusion does not need to be very long, and it should be in your own words. You probably do not want to make any quotations in the conclusion.

You do not want to include any new information in the conclusion, just a summary of what you have already talked about.

Here is an example, from a paper Is the Violation of Buddhism 5th Precept the Worst Deed? :

Conclusion

As we have shown above, listing the 5th precept as the worst violation is simply not correct. We have seen many examples of breaking other precepts in a much more serious manner than simply taking some alcohol. The depth of ‘sin’ from a moral standpoint depends upon the particular situation rather than the precept involved.

Hence the notion in Thailand that the 5th precept is the worst violation is simply not correct, either from a moral standpoint, or from a textual one based on the suttas and also on common sense. This is not to lessen the importance of the 5th precept, but to bring it back on a level with the other precepts which are designed only as a guideline for moral behaviour.
